WATCH: Johnny Juzang scores career-high points in his past two games for UCLA

Once again, a team coached by Mick Cronin – who is known for his offensive powerhouses – won by over-running its opponent offensively, with the Bruins blowing out Washington State, 91-61.

There are all kinds of superlatives you could throw at UCLA’s offense in this game. It was shooting about 60% from the field for most of the game and finished at 54%. It shot better from three than the field – 56%. It was 16 for 18 at the line (89%). It scored 54 points by halftime, which is the most in a first half by a Cronin-coached UCLA team, and in that half it shot 64% from the field, 78% from three and 100% from the line. Five players were in double figures. And if you’re talking about balanced scoring, Jaquez scored 16, Campbell 16 and Johnny Juzang a career-high 17.

It could be mostly because Juzang is starting to get in a shooting rhythm. He was 7 of 14 and 3 for 6 from the field against WSU. In his last two games, he’s now 12 of 24 (50%) from the field, and 10 for 17 from three (59%). That’s considerably better than the 35% from the field and the 25% from three he was shooting previous to that.
