Park Ji-Sung learning to adjust after life at Man United – Mirror Online

Norwich 1-1 QPR: Park Ji-Sung learning to adjust after life at Man United - Mirror Online

After seven years, four titles and a Champions League at Manchester United, Park Ji-Sung is not used to losing 5-0 at home on the first day of the season.  And holding on for a point at Carrow Road was not part of the plan when this “global superstar” was unveiled as one of QPR’s eight summer signings.

It is a culture shock as big as moving from Asia to Europe for the South Korean. But the new Rangers captain made clear he expects the same standards as at Old Trafford.

“It’s different to Manchester United but the most important thing is that the players have a winning mentality,” Park said. “Even though I now play for QPR it doesn’t matter so we still go for the win. Everyone has to believe we can win the game. The first two games we haven’t got the results we want but we don’t want to repeat last season. We have to do better. The most important thing against Norwich is we did better than last week.”
