Lee Nguyen – Man of the Match with a Goal in the New England Revolution 2 – 0 win over New York Red Bulls

Revolution midfielder Lee Nguyen scored his third goal of the season with a shot from outside of the 18 to help lead the Revolution over the Red Bulls on Sunday. A lifeless first half allowed the Revolution time to pressure the Red Bulls out-of-form backline. They effectively exposed New York with a class strike by Lee Nguyen, who was given enough time and space to place a perfectly placed ball passed five Red Bulls in the box, beating Ryan Meara to the far post for the lead. The Red Bulls failed to register a single shot in the opening 45.
