Jeremy Lin wants to play in Game #4 vs Miami. Would return of Jeremy Lin be good or bad for Knicks?

New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin wants to return by Game 4 of the Miami Heat playoff series.Is that great news or bad news for Knicks fans?  “I think I’m gonna evaluate it at the end of the week and see,” Lin said Sunday. “Hopefully I’ll feel good by then … the main thing is to be able to play without thinking about (the injury).”

The Knicks were awful in the first game against Heat losing by 33 points. And Linsanity has never been a bad thing.  But is a point guard on a newly-repaired wheel the way Mike Woodson‘s team needs to go? A  team that has recently gone as Carmelo Anthony has gone?”  Every day we add something new, so we don’t know how it’s gonna respond,” said Lin who admitted he had “soreness” in the knee.”  After going through (surgery), he won’t be in basketball shape,” Woodson said. “My job is to gauge him … and make sure he’s giving us solid minutes within the short minutes that he plays.”
