WATCH: Cornell’s Quarterback, Jameson Wang, plays big with 3 touchdowns (2 passes, 1 rush) on nationally televised game vs Harvard
|Jameson Wang threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score for Cornell (1-3, 1-1). He led a 10-play, 83-yard drive on the game’s opening possession that culminated with 4-yard TD receptions by Ryder Kurtz and his 10-yard scoring run with 10:59 to play in the second quarter made it 14-10. Wang connected with Samuel Musungu for a 5-yard touchdown that capped the scoring late in the third quarter.
Last week, Big Red Senior Quarterback Jameson Wang earned the Ivy’s Offensive Player of the Week honors for his performance against the Yale Bulldogs.
In Cornell’s 47-23 win over the Bulldogs, Wang was a part of 5 scores for Big Red. The Senior threw for 4 touchdowns in the air, and added a 5th on the ground.
Overall Cornell’s QB was 18 of 29 passing, with 278 yards. He added another 55 yards rushing on 11 attempts.
The Big Red win was both the first in the Ivy League this season, and the first for Head Coach Dan Swanstrom in his Cornell career.
Wang and the rest of Big Red takes the field again on Saturday, October 5th against the UAlbany Great Danes.
