2024 UFA: List of Asians in Professional Ultimate Frisbee

Asians are representing well in professional Ultimate Frisbee. Nearly every team in the UFA(formerly AUDL) has an Asian player on the roster. Every year, a new Asian player emerge and become an elite player. In 2018, 50 Asian players are on the rosters of UFA teams

Frisbee is a fast-growing sport many Asian Americans play including the Asians from the countries of Japan, Philipines, Singapore. There is a movement to get this sport into the Olympics. Countries in Asia, Europe and the Americas have millions of players playing Ultimate. In the United States, the professional Ultimate league is the UFA (Ultimate Frisbee Association) — formerly known as the AUDL. The MLU is now defunct (Major League Ultimate). There is a professional Ultimate team is in nearly every major American city – New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto, etc).

MLU had an asian player in Brendan Wong getting the MVP award after setting the record for most goals scored in a season. The AUDL had a young star in Darren Wu – being one of the leading goal scorers in the league. As well as Ricky Szeto who lead Toronto to the 2013 Championship with 46 goals. Players of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese descent all excel in these leagues.
