Yu Chang returned from paternity leave with a two-run shot off Jorge Alcala, extending Boston’s lead to 10-1 in the fifth inning. Chang went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in the 11-5 victory over the Twins. Chang has two homeruns through 30 at-bats so far this season.

 

Yu Chang and wife Ling, welcomed their first child, Winston, in September 2020 and welcomed their second child, a baby girl, in April 2023. The couple announced their engagement on December 31, 2017.

Yu Chang and Ling Chang made their relationship Instagram official in 2016.

On her Instagram handle, where Ling has shared several photos of her having a fun time with friends and posing for the camera like a model, one picture from 2016 stands out. It is a screenshot of her face timing with Yu.

Currently, Ling does lots of back and forth between the States and Taiwan. In 2018, she shared that she had returned to the States to live full-time to support Yu. But in her recent posts, Ling has shared photos of her living few months in the States and few months in their homeland in Taiwan.
