Tommy Edman is a professional baseball player who currently plays as an infielder for the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on May 9, 1995, in San Diego, California, and played college baseball at Stanford University. Edman was drafted by the Cardinals in the 6th round of the 2016 MLB Draft and made his debut for the team in 2019. He quickly established himself as a versatile player who could play multiple positions, including second base, third base, and outfield. In his rookie season, he batted .304 with 11 home runs, 36 RBI, and 15 stolen bases in 92 games. And has been putting up similar numbers since.

Tommy and Kristen met through a mutual friend, Kristen’s family friend was his Stanford teammate. His friend and Kristen grew up together as their parents were in the same Bible study group.

The couple got engaged on December 24, 2018. Kristen flaunted her diamond ring on her social media sites. Tommy Edman and Kristen Edman married on November 23, 2019. The marriage ceremony was held in the presence of both families. The marriage ceremony was supposed to be held in October, but the Cardinals were in the middle of the NLDS against the Braves, so it got postponed.

Tommy Edman is half Korean on his mother’s side. He represented Team South Korea in the 2023 World Baseball Classic.
