Watch: USA U-18s player Kevin Vang scores fantastic free-kick goal for NE Revolution U-18

Midfielder Kevin Vang scored and assisted while Izaiah Jennings notched his ninth goal of the season in the Revolution U-18s 4-0 win over Empire United at Gillette Stadium over the weekend.

Empire United gifted the Revs an own goal in the 18th minute before Jennings tallied in the 28th minute thanks to a feed from Joe Brito. Vang scored in the 39th minute, then assisted on Daniel Jones’ 73rd minute goal. Vang’s assist was his seventh of the season.

Goalkeeper Eddie Walsh made two saves to claim the clean sheet in Saturday’s win.

In the second match of Saturday’s Academy slate, Marcelo Lage scored in his second straight match to help the U-16s earn a 1-1 draw against Empire United.

Lage’s goal, which was set up by Trevor Burns’ seventh assist of the season, equalized the match in the 76th minute.

The U-16s and U-18s return to action on Saturday against Beachside SC at the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Conn.
