|Ding YanYuHang is a 23 year old 6’7″ 200 lbs Small Forward playing for Shangdong in the CBA. He is a 6th-year player in the league but he seemed to have come out of nowhere to become the most talked about Chinese player of the 2016-2017 season. Shangdong isn’t known to be a powerhouse team in the CBA, but Ding has helped the team be in the hunt for a playoff berth.
In a league dominated by imported players from other countries, Ding YanYuhang has become the dominant player on his team. In a recent game against one of the top teams in the league, Yi Jianlian’s Guangdong Southern Tigers, Ding took over late in the game to lead his team to an upset win.
