Asians at Super Bowl 50
|Only a handful of Asians were ticket-holders to the NFL Championship game between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50. There were asians enjoying the festivities outside the stadium and asian cheerleaders who were invited to perform alongside Beyonce during the halftime show. The cheerleaders were from High School squads and College squads around the San Jose area.
As for the players — Hawaiian born Shiloh Keo of the Denver Broncos. Keo is a surname originating from Cambodia. Shiloh Keo is a defensive back for the Broncos.
Samoan Star Lotulelei is the staring defensive tackle for the Carolina Panthers. He had 5 tackles in the game.
