Invicta FC champ Michelle Waterson donates her hair for cancer victims
|According to a June 15 tweet from UFC star Julie Kedzie, Invicta FC atomweight champ Michelle Waterson chopped off 14 inches of her beautiful hair to support kids with cancer.
Waterson, who is coming off a championship victory over Jessica Penne at Invicta FC 5, showed she is also a champ outside the cage by reaching out to help those in need.
“Look! @InvictaFights Atomweight Champ @karatehottiemma chopped off 14″ of her hair to donate to kids with cancer,” Kedzie tweeted, along with the photo of Waterson after her haircut.
Waterson’s luscious locks will be turned into hair prosthetics that can be worn by a child with cancer, which will help boost their confidence and put a smile on their face as they fight through the illness.
For a child, losing one’s hair due to cancer can be a tremendous blow to confidence and self-esteem.
