Yao Ming retires from the NBA

With the NBA lockout over and the free agency period just begining, we reflect back to perhaps the greatest asian basketball player – Yao Ming. Yao Ming would have been a free agent this year – with the possibility of going to numerous teams or staying in Houston. Instead, injuries had force Yao to retire from the NBA. He’s not out of basketball, as he is the owner of the Shanghai Sharks and actively attends the games with his wife, Yi Li, who is a former women basketball China national team member.
