Shaquille O’Neal is heading back to Orlando. The former NBA All-Star will return for a guest appearance on an upcoming episode of Fresh Off the Boat, ABC announced Thursday.
In the episode, he will be joined by rapper Busta Rhymes, fellow ex-NBA player Jalen Rose, and comedian J.B. Smoove. Both Shaq and Busta will play themselves.
The Big Diesel, currently an NBA analyst for TNT, appeared in season 2, episode 3, as the proprietor of a car dealership bearing his name.
Busta Rhymes joins the ranks of fellow hip-hop stars who’ve appeared in the sophomore sitcom. DMX popped up in episode 9, “We Done Son,” while Janet Jackson producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis showed up for Valentine’s Day.

Rose, unlike O’Neal, will not be playing himself. The current ESPN NBA analyst will play a character from Louis’ past. Smoove reprises his character as Louis’ plotting-and-scheming friend, Barry, who first met the Huangs on-screen in the same episode that featured DMX.
In an earlier episode in Season 2, Jeremy Lin made a cameo appearance.
