Fresh Off the Boat: Charlotte Hornets guard Jeremy Lin to guest on ABC series on Oct 13th

Last night’s episode of Fresh Off the Boat (ABC, 8:30 p.m.) features a guest appearance by Shaquille O’Neal, and next week’s installment also puts the ball in a NBA player’s comedy court.

Jeremy Lin of the Charlotte Hornets — and the former New York Knick at the center of Linsanity — will guest-star in the Oct. 13 episode of the family comedy, EW has learned. Whereas Shaq appears as himself as the owner of a car dealership, Lin plays “Chau,” a factory worker who “frustrates Louis (Randall Park) with his opinions on the Pretty in Pink.”

Chicago Bulls Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen made a cameo in a FOTB episode last season.
