Asians in Ultimate Week 10: Casey Wu scores 10 goals, Chuck Cao with 6 assists

Despite missing the first 2 games of the season, Boston Whitecaps Tyler Chan is now 10th in the league in scoring with (37P, 19G, 18A). Brendan Wong is right behind him with (35P, 24G, 11A). Scoring in the MLU tends to be less than the AUDL due to the less minutes of game time. Nick Hirannet is 16th in the league (33P, 15G, 18A). There is only one game left in the MLU season.

Chuck Cao and Casey Wu had big games over the weekend. On ESPN National Broadcast, Chuck Cao threw for 6 scores and also caught 3 scores (9P, 6A, 3G). Cao has always been a great thrower, but has lately been venturing into the endzone to catch goals as well. For the season Cao is (9GM, 31P, 9G, 22A).

San Diego’s Casey Wu had a monster game against the Vancouver Riptide. Wu had 10 Goals. In just 5 games played so far, Casey Wu has 18 Goals. You can watch Wu’s big breakout game here,

It was a Wu vs Wu game, as Darren Wu also played a key part for Vancouver with 3 goals and an assist. Darren Wu has the most goals of any Asian in the AUDL with 29 Goals on the season.

Leading scorer of the San Francisco Flamethrowers, Barrs Lang, kept his team in playoff contention with a big win over Seattle. Lang had 3 Goals and an Assist.

Handler Bob Liu had 4A and a goal in his games against the Madison Radicals.
