Nori Aoki hit his first home run of the season in Sunday’s win over the Angels. Aoki stepped into the batter’s box against Jered Weaver to open the bottom of the first inning. He promptly homered. It was Aoki’s first tater of the season and the 20th of his career. Aoki’s not much of a slugger, clearly, but he’s played well in his first month as a Giant, with a .307/.391/.406 line over 101 at-bats. He’s also stolen seven bases and scored 12 runs.
