Minnesota Wild: Matt Dumba sent to AHL Iowa

There will not be any Asians in the NHL for awhile. A few days after Devin Setoguchi was assigned to the American Hockey League by the Flames, the Minnesota Wild assigned defenseman Matt Dumba to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League on Saturday.

Dumba, 20, had four points (one goal, three assists), six penalty minutes and averaged 12:29 in ice time in 20 games with Minnesota this season. He was the Wild’s first-round pick in the 2012 draft.
