What brought me to the Lions:
I have been playing Ultimate with the University of Utah for the last 5 years and this is an opportunity to show the rest of the country what Salt Lake Ultimate is all about.

Stephen Ng grew up in a family of athletes, playing tennis. Luckily for the Philadelphia Phoenix, 5 years ago Stephen became Stng and chose a different path for himself, and for Temple University. He started playing Ultimate as a student, and captained the Temple University Of Dooms, capturing the first 2 Ultimate Championships in Temple history. Despite this success, Stephen attests that he gained the bulk of his Ultimate experience in the following years, after joining AMP. With AMP, he went on to compete in the 2012 Mixed Nationals in Sarasota, Florida. In 2013, Stephen decided to venture out into the unknown and experience uniquely stylized play in the Midwest, joining the Shinigami out of Minnesota. For the AUDL’s third season, he brings everything he has back home to the Philadelphia Phoenix field. This rookie’s proven consistency executing smart plays, combined with an inherent root in Philadelphia and his new teammates, will make for a stronger Phoenix team and a strong drive for the title.
