Dong Hyun Kim has looked very impressive lately, if you enjoy dominant grappling that is. Since his loss to Carlos Condit by flying knee KO back in 2011, Kim has had 3 grappling-heavy unanimous decision wins over Sean Pierson, Paulo Thiago and Siyar Bahadurzada. In the middle of that, Kim did drop one fight to Demian Maia but the loss was due to Kim suffering a freakish muscle spasm 30 seconds into the fight which resulted in a verbal submission. Neither Silva nor Kim is ranked in the Top 10 but the winner could earn a spot with an impressive performance.
