Video: Althea Named Raiderette of the Week

Veteran Raiderette Althea was named Raiderette of the Week for 2013 Regular Season Week 2.

“My favorite Raider moment would have to be our Junior Raiderette program last season,” said Althea. “Getting to know some of the girls and watching them perform alongside us took me back to when I was a Junior Raiderette.”

Althea participated in Junior Raiderettes when she was 14 at the encouragement of her dance instructor, Harmony who was once a Raiderette.

Althea’s dream was to become a member of Football’s Fabulous Females. Now that her dream has come true, she is helping inspire and lead the Juniors in her second season with the team.
