Stuttgarts Shinji Okazaki could move to Premier League

Forward Shinji Okazaki could leave Stuttgart this summer, according to the Bundesliga clubs sporting director, Fredi Bobic. The 27-year-old arrived from Shimizu S-Pulse in January 2011 but has struggled to make a mark in Germany, managing only one goal in 25 league appearances last term.Bobic believes the Japan international, who has been on duty at the Confederations Cup, has yet to show his best form for the Bundesliga outfit but admitted he could soon be on the move.

“He did well in his first year-and-a-half with us and was also good last season, although his goal ratio could improve,” Bobic told Bild.”There is a chance that we could see movement in the transfer market.”According to German reports, a number of Bundesliga rivals and Premier League clubs are keeping close tabs on Okazaki.
