Minnesota Wild call up Matt Dumba, Carson McMillan

The Minnesota Wild recalled defenseman Matt Dumba and forward Carson McMillan from the American Hockey League team in Houston on Monday, May 6.

Dumba, 18, was the Wild’s first-round draft pick last year. McMillan, 24, was Minnesota’s seventh-round pick in 2007.

Neither is expected to play, but since the Houston Aeros’ season is over, the Wild are permitted to call up as many AHL players as they want, contract-permitting.
