NBA-DL: Santa Cruz Warriors win exhibition game, but Japeth Aguilar sees just 11 minutes

Japeth Aguilar logged just 11 minutes of action during the Santa Cruz Warriors’ 129-126 triple-overtime win against the Texas Legends, Sunday (Monday, PHL time), as part of the Development League’s Preseason Jamboree in Oklahoma.

Coming off the bench, Aguilar saw the fewest minutes of the nine players that hit the court for the Warriors. He missed the sole shot he attempted, but got three rebounds and an assist without committing a turnover, although he did give up three fouls.

Dominique Johnson led Santa Cruz with 26 points on 7-of-19 shooting, while Taylor Griffin, brother of Blake Griffin, tallied 20 points and 14 rebounds before fouling out.

Second overall pick in the 2012 D-League draft Chris Douglas-Roberts led all scorers with 49 points. He also managed seven rebounds, eight assists, three steals and a block.
