Ichiro Suzuki hits homerun off countrymen Yu Darvish in Seattle 6-1 win over Texas

Ichiro Suzuki went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run scored in Monday’s win over the Rangers.

Facing fellow countryman Yu Darvish, Ichiro produced RBI knocks in the first and third innings. The veteran hitter is now batting 5-for-7 against Darvish. Ichiro’s overall numbers are still well below his career averages. But he has been consistently solid on a young and resurgent Mariners team.
