UFC 142: Prelims to Air on FX – Omigawa vs Alcantara

UFC 142′s six-bout preliminary card will air live on FX from the January 14 event in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the UFC confirmed today.

The UFC 142 prelims are topped by lightweights Sam Stout vs. Thiago Tavares and welterweights Paulo Thiago vs. Mike Pyle and also include Fabio Maldonado vs. Stanislov Nedkov, Edinaldo Oliveira vs. Rob Broughton, Felipe Arantes vs. Antonio Carvalho, and Yuri Alcantara vs. Michihiro Omigawa.

UFC 142 is headlined by featherweight champion Jose Aldo vs. Chad Mendes, while Vitor Belfort welcomes slugger Anthony Johnson to the middleweight division in UFC 142′s co-main event.
