‘All-in’ effort helped Seung Hoon Choi in start

LINCOLN — Nebraska junior guard Seung Hoon Choi hadn’t received much playing time since his two starts in September, but that didn’t alter the way he approached practices.

That’s why Choi was able to play well against Penn State on Saturday, when he started in place of the injured Andrew Rodriguez, offensive line coach John Garrison said.

Garrison liked Choi’s effort Saturday, especially in pass protection, against a defensive line that may have been the best Nebraska has faced so far.

“Every day, he’s been all in,” Garrison said. “And because of that, he was able to step into the situation that he’s in right now and perform, and do the things that need to be done.”
